Crisis and support for local businesses: "Areas for new settlements and less bureaucracy"

Businesses need oxygen, the new Osimo administration knows this well and has dedicated a separate chapter to initiatives for local entrepreneurship in its programmatic guidelines.

"We have many plans regarding jobs and business, which are essential for the well-being of the community," says Mayor Michela Glorio . "We plan to identify areas where entrepreneurs can build new facilities: several companies need to expand , and currently there are small areas available that need strengthening. We also want to strengthen communication between the Municipality and businesses with specific contacts, such as strengthening the Productive Activities Consultation Committee . It will be operational in a few weeks, but discussions are already underway with trade associations, for example, regarding the state of natural disaster to be requested from the Region for the damage caused by the severe weather of last month, for summer events, and for calls for tenders such as the one for the productive activities in the San Marco district."

For commercial businesses, the goal is to support small retailers in online sales and streamline administrative procedures. "It will be important to establish agreements with Confidi (guarantee consortiums) to promote credit for SMEs and then push for the reopening of the Employment Center . The Municipality also intends to foster greater collaboration between schools and the workplace ." For the agricultural sector, the goal is to ensure maximum land maintenance : "We will soon organize a meeting with the trade unions and revise the rural police regulations, also to raise awareness among the short supply chain and regulate water prices for farmers."

Numerous construction projects are still underway in Osimo . The entire pavement has just been redone as part of the old, now completed, asphalt plan ; the new one will be developed starting in September based on the recommendations gathered during the seven neighborhood tours held between late June and late July. During the work on the loggia to secure the artifacts, the information point in the former newsstand, open in the summer from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., will be closed. However, tourists can rely on the Tourist Information and Reception Office at the entrance to the caves. Pedestrian access to the elevator is guaranteed.
